Aurora Angling LLC is passionate about our fisheries and providing anglers with an unforgettable experience on the water. Mike has been chasing fish for decades, utilizing numerous angling methods. His favored methods over the past decade and a half have been swinging flies for steelhead, fly-fishing for musky, and fly-fishing for smallmouth bass. We are a passionate company that wants to see our clients have an amazing time on the water, as well as learn a thing or two.

Our main watersheds of focus include the WI Brule for steelhead, the Grand Rapids, MN, area, the Duluth area for smallmouth, and the Namekagon/St. Croix system for smallmouth and musky. We are proudly licensed as a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) holder for the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Mike is also passionate about Lake Superior’s cold-water resources and has advocated for its watersheds and fisheries as President of the Lake Superior Steelhead Association for the past decade.
